Verizon Volunteer Incentive Program

Verizon employees are eligible to apply for a grant on behalf of the Aldert Root PTA when
they volunteer 50 hours or more during the year. The Foundation provides a $750 check for

GlaxoSmithKline (GIVE)
|
|
GlaxoSmithKline Investment in Volunteer Excellence (GIVE) program will provide grants to
Aldert Root PTA where employees or their partners volunteered at least 50 hours. Find out

General Mills Box Tops for Education
|
|
Collect official Box Tops coupons on many popular products including General Mills cereals,
Pilsbury products, Ziploc, Avery labels and many more! Click on the icon
link for the complete list.
During specified collection dates, bring clipped Box Tops coupons in plastic bags marked
with your child’s name and teacher. Deposit them in the Box Tops collection bin at the
front door across from the office (or give to your teachers). Collection deadlines for
this school year are October 7th and February 10th. Prizes will be given to the K-2
and 3-5 classes with the most Box Tops.

Food Lion Shop and Share Program
|
|
Each time you shop at Food Lion and use your MVP card a portion of your total
grocery purchase will be donated to Aldert Root PTA. To register your MVP card,
click on the icon and then click on "Classroom Rewards".

Harris Teeter's Together in Education
|
|
When you purchase select Harris Teeter Private Label Products using your VIC Card,
Harris Teeter will give cash back to the PTA. Special shelf tags identify eligible
products. Just link your VIC card by stopping by the customer service desk or go
online at this link. Our
TIE school code is 2804. Your VIC card can be programmed with the code so that you
will not have to remember it from visit to visit. Your VIC card needs to be relinked
every August.

Kroger's e-Labels for Education
|
|
If you already participate in Kroger's e-Labels for Education, then you know how
easy it is to help your school once you register online and shop with your Shoppers
or Rewards card at Kroger. Just remember to choose Root to receive your e-Labels
for Education points, or Root will not receive the points you earn. Get more
information by clicking on the icon.

|
TARGET "Take Charge of Education School Fundraising Program"
|
|
Anyone with a Target REDcard (Target Credit Card, Target Visa Credit Card, or
Target Debit Card) can link their card to earn cash for Root. Target will
donate 1% of your REDcard purchases to Root PTA. Once cards are linked they
do not have to be re-linked anually. Sign up by visiting the Target customer
service desk or online at Target.com in the REDcard section. The Target ID for Root is 81093.
Click on the Target icon and navigate to
"Manage my REDcard" and then to "Take Charge of Education". You can also sign up by
visiting the Target customer service desk.

COCA COLA "Coke Rewards"
|
|
Our school is now participating in the Coke Rewards
program! By drinking the Coca-Cola products your
family already enjoys, you can earn My Coke Rewards
points and donate them to our school. Your point
donations will go towards rewards like sports equipment,
art supplies, and educational resources that help
our students learn, play, and have fun.
The points from a 12-pack of diet-coke are worth about 40 cents for the school.

What do you need to do?
- Click on the mycoke rewards icon above or go to mycokerewards.com/school and sign in (register if you aren't a member.)
- Purchase your favorite Coca-Cola products to get codes - Click on the icon, then click on "How It Works"->Program Overview
- Enter your codes to collect points - then search for our school to donate points.
- Enter the amount of points you'd like to give, then click "Donate".
- A point is worth about 2 cents to the school.

Root Spirit Nights
|
|
Throughout the year the PTA hosts Spirit Nights at various restaurants in our area.
The restaurants donate a percentage of sales to our school! Come eat, socilaize
and support the school. Invite friends and family!
